All too often, we see animals, or nature in general, as “different” or “separate” from us. However, if we can look beyond these limited experiences of reality and focus instead on areas of similarity rather than difference, we are privy to another perspective – that animals share our sentience, intelligence, and complexity, and are living vivid, intentional lives. In seeing animals as our intellectual, emotional, and spiritual equals, we see their true nature. Illusions of separation fall away to reveal the shimmering reality that there is magic, consciousness, and rich aliveness in all beings.
