"Rise Above" Original Painting

Details: 10x14" original mixed media (acrylic paint, alcohol ink) painting on canvas board. Varnished with a satin finish. 

This painting was inspired by the concept of successfully leaping over hurdles and bypassing obstacles. All of us are dealt blessings and challenges in our lives, and it is how we choose to approach these that defines who we are. Will we shrink away in fear of hardship, or will we rise above it? My hope is that this piece reminds you of your innate strength and your ability to emerge from difficulty victorious, radiant, and joyful.
