This painting arose from my desire to capture the way that rain makes me feel. For me, there is nothing that offers the feeling of coziness, safety, and connection with nature like a rainy day. The air's moisture hangs over and around us like a blanket wrapped around our shoulders, as water and air become one in the trees, the skies, and our breath.
