Despite the many fractalling, varied expressions of earth’s beauty that exist, some aspects of life are universal. These similarities emerge from the threads of unity that bind all of existence together on the deepest levels. Though the animals featured in this painting could be considered vastly different from one another, they could also be considered profoundly similar – for instance, each animal has a different voice and sings a different song, and yet, they all sing. They call to one another, to the earth, to the moon; they use sound to express needs, fears, and hopes. This commonality reflects the energetic, spiritual realms – Earth’s many voices singing together to create one thrumming, rhythmic melody, the vibrations of which pulse through our soils, waters and veins and keep us entwined in harmonic coexistence.
